Mark Mathis

SIKESTON - Mark Mathis, 37, died June 9, 2003, at the Clearview Nursing Center.

Born Aug. 30, 1965, in Sikeston, son of Carol Sue Davis Whitchurch of Poplar Bluff and the late Robert L. Mathis, he was a former truck driver for W.W. Wood in Broseley.

On Nov. 18, 2001, at Charleston, he married Becky Aycock who survives of the home.

Survivors in addition to his wife and mother include: two sons, Mark Aaron Mathis of Morehouse and Devon Tyler Aycock of Sikeston; one daughter, Ashley N. Mathis of Indianapolis, Ind.; one half brother, Steve Wheatley of Crocker; one half sister, Mary Jo Masegian of Morehouse; and his stepmother, Marilyn Mathis of Morehouse.

Visitation is from 1:30 p.m. Wednesday until service time at 3:30 p.m. at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. Etsel Davis will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Hagy Cemetery.
