Sarah Jones

PORTAGEVILLE - Sarah J. Jones, 94, died March 13, 2002, at the Portageville Nursing Center.

Born Jan. 27, 1908, in Crawford County, daughter of the late William F. and Mary Rohrer Kimes, she attended the Conran Pentecostal Church of God.

She is survived by one sister, Mary Richardson of Portageville.

Preceding her in death were three sisters, Lennie Kimes, Nell Hawkins and Pearl Slaughter; and three brothers, John Kimes, Dan Kimes and Frank Kimes.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. today at DeLisle Funeral Home where services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Fred Allbright will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Portageville Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Sherman Kimes, Albert Kimes, Jack Kimes, Franklin Kimes, Ronnie Kimes and Mark Kimes.
