Ernest Prindle

ORAN - Ernest Louis Prindle, 94, died at 3:34 p.m. June 8, 2003, at the Clearview Nursing Center in Sikeston.

Born July 30, 1908, in Chaffee, son of the late Ernest Caldwell and Ida Frances Pobst, he was employed by Fabick Brothers Engineering Company in Sikeston before retiring and was a member of Guardian Angel Catholic Church.

On Dec. 16, 1929, he married Ora Dean Wilson who preceded him in death on Feb. 14 1998.

Also preceding him in death were one daughter, Barbara Dickerson; and three brothers and five sisters.

Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Billie Jean Prindle of Sikeston; and five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation begins at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran, where parish prayers will be read at 7 p.m.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Guardian Angel Catholic Church with the Rev. John Harth, officiating.

Burial will follow in the Old Morley Cemetery at Morley.

Pallbearers will be: Greg Prindle, Kurt Prindle, Chad Prindle, Jason Hamm, Jerod Hamm, Kevin Tenkhoff and Jason Rains.
