HARDIN, Ky. - Mollie Lee, 89, formerly of East Prairie, Mo., died at 7:15 p.m. May 2, 2003, at her home.

Born Sept. 26, 1913, at Osceola, Ark., daughter of the late George and Lillie O'Brien Worsley, she was raised by her aunt, Hattie Worsley Fisher. She was bookkeeper for the East Prairie Lumber Co. for 12 years, was an East Prairie municipal judge for a number of years, was active in raising funds for the first Senior Center in East Prairie, served on numerous civic committees and was made an honorary member of the Missouri House of Representatives from the 159th District in appreciation of her services. She was also a member of the Nelson United Methodist Church in East Prairie.

On May 13, 1933, she married Raymond D. Lee who preceded her in death on July 8, 1996.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Mollie Jean Sasseen.

Survivors include: one daughter, Bonnie Woods of Hardin; one brother, H.E. Fisher of Clarksville, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Rick Sasseen of Coppell, Texas, Rhonda Butler of Huntsville, Ala., and Glen Collins of Fredonia, Ky.; and seven great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie where services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Monday with Jim Quist officiating.

Burial will follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
