Jack Kirkman
DEXTER - Jack D. Kirkman, 57, died April 3, 2002, at his home.
Born Nov. 2, 1944, at Dexter, son of Ruth Sprinkle of Bloomfield and the late Ivan Kirkman, he had been a landscape architect and was of the Pentecostal belief.
On Aug. 3, 1974, at Arnold, he married Brenda K. Simmons who survives of the home.
Survivors in addition to his wife and mother include: three sons, Jerry Kirkman of Neelyville and Ivan Kirkman and John Kirkman of Dexter; four daughters, Terry Matt of Madison, Ky., Sherri Kline of Athens, Ala., Kim Smiley of St. Louis and Candice Kirkman of Dexter; three brothers, Jimmy Kirkman of Bernie, David Kirkman of Dexter and Charlie Spears of Delaware; eight sisters, Louise Black, Jo Ann Burleson, Sharon Kirkman, Darlene Shelton and Carol Rudd of Dexter, Nellie Steward of Rolla, Susie Murphy of Jefferson City and Judy McAllister of Chicago, Ill.; and 11 grandchildren.
Graveside services were conducted at 10:30 a.m. today at the Dexter Cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Kirby officiating.
Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home of Dexter was in charge of arrangements.
