Juanita Holz

KANSAS CITY - Juanita Helen Holz, 80, formerly of Sikeston and Mississippi County, died at 8:15 a.m. Oct. 3, 2002, at the St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City.

Born Aug. 19, 1922, in East Prairie, daughter of the late Roy and Renee Fenema Carter, she lived in Sikeston for many years and retired from the Mississippi County Division of Family Services.

On Sept. 1, 1946, she married Anthony Holz who preceded her in death in 1998.

Survivors include: two sons, Brian Holz of Overland Park, Kan., and Dale Holz of Ballwin; two daughters, Diane Field of Huntington Beach, Calif., and Judy Schulehess of Angola, Ind.; and nine grandchildren.

One brother, Frank Carter, also preceded her in death.

Visitation is from noon Tuesday until service time at 1 p.m. at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie. Fred Girdwood, pastor of the First Christian Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie.
