Amos Robinson
ORAN - Amos Quinton Robinson, 85, died at 2:25 p.m. Sept. 28, 2004, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born Sept. 4, 1919, in Gastonia, N.C., son of the late Kelly Robinson, he was an accountant for the Northrop Corporation Aircraft Division in Los Angeles. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and member of the Third Baptist Church in St. Louis.
On March 12, 1946, at Oran, he married Wilma Ida Fulton who survives of the home.
He is also survived by one brother, Alvin Robinson of Gastonia.
Preceding him in death were his mother and father, three brothers, two sisters and his stepmother.
Visitation begins at 4 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Ed Carter will officiate.
Burial will follow in Union Park Cemetery at Chaffee.
