Lillian Standley
SERVERNA PARK, Md. - Lillian Zola Standley, 90, formerly of Sikeston, Mo., died at 12:45 p.m. May 30, 2002, at the Genesis of Serverna Park Nursing Center.
Born Nov. 25, 1911, in Matthews, daughter of the late John Jacob and Etta Mary Sellards Reiss, she was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Sikeston. She was president of the Cotton Boll Girl Scout Council for six years and past president of the United Methodist Women's Club, member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Alumni Association of Southeast Missouri State University.
On May 13, 1934, in Sikeston, she married Lonnie Maurice Standley who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Jo Ellen Standley of Sag Harbor, N.Y., and Kay Standley of Serverna Park; and one grandson, Ensign Arthur Bradley Soule IV, stationed with the U.S. Coast Guard in Kodiak, Alaska.
One sister, Audrey Reiss, preceded her in death.
A memorial service will be conducted in Sikeston at a later date.
