BERTRAND - Dale Kerr has joined the service department of A-MAC Sales, 609 W. Highway 62.
Kerr, who will head the department, is a 1989 graduate of Nashville Auto Diesel College.
"Dale brings a wealth of knowledge and experience of over 15 years," said A-MAC owner Allen McKinley. "With his addition this gives our combined service department over 45 years of experience."
McKinley pointed out the service department is factory trained on International Harvester, CASE, Versatile, Kubota, Caterpillar, Challenger track tractors, Claus combines, Mahindra tractors, Valtra tractors, Steiner mowers, Great Dane mowers, Dixie Chopper mowers, Kohler engines, Generac engines and all types of air-conditioning systems.

LAKE OZARKS - "Lighting the Way to Student Success" was the theme of the 56th annual Missouri School Counselor Association Fall Conference Nov. 7-9 at the Lake of the Ozarks. Local counselors who attended included Julie Victor, Lilbourn Elementary School; Lisa Godwin, New Madrid County Central Middle School; and Emily Carlisle, NMCC High School.
The event included more than 75 different workshops geared toward school counselors and some 150 exhibitors. Doug Manning kicked off the conference with a motivational keynote speech, "Proactive Living Where Achievement Begins" and Dr. Don Bartlett addressed the group Tuesday on communicating a message of faith and courage.
SIKESTON - Kevin Coffee is the "Employee of the Quarter" for Bootheel Counseling Services.
A crisis therapist for the center, Coffee was chosen because of "his dedication to clients and the center, his willingness to assist other staff in other areas when needed, work ethic and last, but not least, his excellent morals and attitude," according to officials.
Bootheel Counseling's main office is located at 760 Plantation Blvd. in Sikeston with a branch office at 25 N. Walnut St. in Dexter.
POPLAR BLUFF - Three employees of the Poplar Bluff Air Evac Lifeteam base were honored at Homecoming 2004, the company's annual convention, in October.
Lead nurse Vickie Byerley received the award for being the nurse with the most flights with a total of 227 patient flights. Lead pilot Robert Knight was honored for being the pilot with the most flights (187 missions).
Membership coordinator Jeremy Jenkins was named Membership Employee of the Year. This award is presented annually to the membership employee who goes above and beyond to create membership awareness.
About 700 employees attended the annual convention held at the headquarters in West Plains.
