Floyd Bostic

BLOOMFIELD - Floyd Eugene Bostic, 73, died April 14, 2002, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born Jan. 25, 1929, at Zalma, son of the late Ben and Katherine Knuckles Bostic, he worked for the Hudson Furniture Store in Cape Girardeau for 20 years before retiring.

Survivors include: three sons, Dale Bostic and Farrell Bostic of Bloomfield and Darrell Bostic of Marble Hill; one sister, Cletta Carver of Corcoran, Calif.; four brothers, Melvin Bostic, Cecil Bostic, Elmer Bostic and Jude Bostic of Bloomfield; and 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Dale Holcomb will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Hollis Cemetery at Acorn Ridge.
