Claudell Farr

HOWARDVILLE - Claudell Anderson Farr, 51, died April 11, 2002, at her home.

Born Feb. 9, 1951, in St. Louis, daughter of the late Jessie and Gustee Anderson, she was a member of the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Lilbourn.

In 1974, she married James Farr Jr. who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two daughters, Deneane Anderson of Howardville and Lisa Anderson of Lilbourn; four stepdaughters, Ruth Ellen Dennis and Vera Cain of Malden, Christine Farr and Faye Hall of Marion, Ind.; eight stepsons, Moses Farr of Atlanta, Ga., John Dale Farr and Michael Farr of Houston, Texas, Brian Farr of Dallas, Texas, Jimmy Farr of Pensacola, Fla., Duffie Farr of Greenwood, S.C., Robert Farr of Cape Girardeau and James Farr III of Malden; two sisters, Gladys Wilson and Sarah Farr of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; two brothers, Jessie Anderson of Marion and James Anderson of Pennsylvania; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. Monday until time for services at noon at the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church with the Rev. Kenneth Holloway officiating. Williams-Farr and Purnell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Burial will follow in Simmons Park Cemetery.
