CHARLESTON - Glen Keith Fields, 64, died at 1:30 a.m. April 11, 2002, at the VA Regional Medical Center at Marion, Ill.

Born Sept. 5, 1937, at Wyatt, to Lorene Cherry Fields of Charleston and the late Raymond Fields, he lived in Mississippi County most of his life. A self-employed plumber retiring in 1998, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army and of the Protestant belief.

On Jan. 3, 1963, he married Judy Ann Ehrenreich, who preceded him in death on March 1, 1987.

Surviving are: one son, Darren Fields of Jackson; two daughters, Vicki Bunting of Sikeston and Pamela Abdulaziz of Jackson; two brothers, Kenneth Fields of Patterson and Ronnie Fields of Overland Park, Kan.; four sisters, Geraldine Welch of Charleston, Jean Clearman and Sherrie Wicker of Seattle, Wash. and Sue Gwendolyn Witt of Gulfport, Miss.; and four grandchildren.

Friends may call from noon until time for services at 2 p.m. Saturday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. The Rev. Gerald Collier, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Charleston, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Armer Cemetery near Bertrand.

Pallbearers will be: Orville Witt, Wilbur Witt, Lowell Nally, Robert Nally, Donnie Sams and Rowland Cole.
