Ruby Frazier
SIKESTON - Ruby May Frazier, 94, died at 9:52 a.m. March 11, 2002, at the Sikeston Convalescent Center.
Born March 10, 1908, daughter of the late John and Melvina Launius Wren, she was of the Pentecostal belief.
She was married first to Troy Clifton Carr, then married Walter Layton. Her third husband was Lee Frazier. Her husbands preceded her in death.
Survivors include: three sons, Troy Eugene Carr of Sikeston, Ernest Melton Laymon of Morehouse and Franklin D. Frazier of Centralia, Ill.; four daughters, Virginia May Lemmink of Benton, Lois Laverne Crabtree of South Beloit, Ill., and Dorothy Lee Tinnin and Sally Ruth Carden of Sikeston; one brother, Frank Wren of Ellsberry; and 25 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
One daughter, one brother, one sister and one grandson also preceded her in death.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Blanchard Funeral Chapel where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. Maxie Schrieber, pastor of Parker Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church, will officiate.
Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Roger Carden, John Carden, Richie Carden, David Norton, Kelly Layton and Bob Davis.
