Lorine Alexander
DEXTER - Lorine R. Alexander, 88, died April 12, 2002, at the Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Born April 26, 1913, at Doniphan, daughter of the late James W. and Callie Hughes Rosson, she had lived most of her life in Essex where she was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
On Oct. 8, 1932, in Corning, Ark., she married Willie Cleveland Alexander who preceded her in death on June 30, 1984.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Billy Joe Alexander; two brothers, Jimmy Rosson and Norman Rosson; and her stepmother, Lorrie Rosson.
Survivors include: three sons, Fred Alexander of Portageville, Bob Alexander of Dexter and Don Alexander of St. Charles; one daughter, Patsy Rapp of St. Charles; one brother, Johnny Rosson of Madison; two sisters, Barbara Snider of Broseley and Marion Stites of Collinsville, Ill.; and 12 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home.
Graveside services will follow at the Hagy Cemetery with the Rev. George Hill of Dexter officiating.
