SIKESTON - Lucille J. Hanna, 94, died at 2:10 a.m. April 11, 2002, at the Sikeston Convalescent Center.

Born Jan. 12, 1908, in Cobden, Ill., daughter of the late Matt and Anna Switzer Jungers, she was a cook for the Sikeston Nutrition Center for 14 years. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.

On Dec. 11, 1926, she married Charles A. Hanna who preceded her in death on May 16, 1969.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Billy C. Hanna on May 12, 1988; two brothers, Bob Jungers and Johnny Jungers; two sisters, Irene Kern and Margaret Moore; and one grandson, Chuck Hanna.

Survivors include: one daughter-in-law, Elma Hanna of Sikeston; one sister, Mary Smith of Florissant; two grandsons, Rick Hanna of Jackson and David Hanna of Cincinnati, Ohio; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Blanchard Funeral Chapel, where a prayer service is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with the Rev. Stephen A. Schneider, pastor, officiating.

Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Ken Kern, Dale Bibko, Dan Kern, Bill Jungers, Tom Marshall and Johnny Hanna.
