ELKTON, Ky. - Jerry Lynn Wyatt, 61, formerly of Sikeston, Mo., died at 8 a.m. April 5, 2002, at his home following an extended illness.

Born March 4, 1941, at Sikeston, son of Elsie N. Nelson Wyatt of Sikeston and the late J.E. Wyatt, he was a 1959 graduate of Sikeston High School and served in the U.S. Army from 1959-1962. A machinist for more than 30 years, he had worked for Indiana Gear Company in Indianapolis, Ind., and had been employed at Reeder & Kline Manufacturing Company in Carmel, Ind., for over 20 years.

On July 29, 1977, in Lawrence, Ind., he married Cathy Hulett who survives of the home.

In addition to his mother and wife, survivors include: one son, Bryan Daurelle of Elkton; four daughters, Leslye Noe and Marcia Blanchard of Waxahatchie, Texas, Nicole Maynard of Indianapolis and Amanda Stevens of Elkton; three brothers, Marivn Dale Wyatt of Sunset Hills, Mo., David Wyatt of Cicero, Ind., and Darrell Wyatt of Hillsboro; one sister, Ellen Merick of Jefferson City, Mo.; and 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Wyatt.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston where services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Monday with the Rev. John Bouldrey, pastor of the First Church of the Nazarene in Sikeston, officiating.

Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
