Louisa Wood

DALLAS -- Louisa N. Wood, 92, died Dec. 24, 2002, at the Baylor Irving Medical Center in Irving.

Born Sept. 19, 1910, in Cape Girardeau, Mo., daughter of the late Elmer and Daisy Deers Nickens, she was of the Methodist belief.

On June 24, 1934, she married Kermit E. Wood who preceded her in death on Oct. 26, 2000.

Survivors include: one sister, Louise LaVigne of Sikeston, Mo.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. Monday until time of service at 11 a.m. at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston. The Rev. Dolan Rogers, pastor of the Sikeston Community Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie, Mo.
