Kathleen Ross

DEXTER -- Kathleen M. Ross, 57, died May 11, 2002, at her home.

Born Feb. 20, 1945, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of Augusta Kerperien Ross of Dexter and the late Floyd Ross. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and had been a cook at area nursing homes.

Survivors in addition to her mother include: one son, Bobby Rollins of Dexter; two brothers, Ronald Ross of Hull, Texas, and James Ross of Hazelwood; one sister, Barbara Ross of Dexter; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, John Rollins.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, where a prayer service is scheduled for 7 p.m.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. John Sheley officiating.

Burial will follow in the Hagy Cemetery at Dexter.
