BERTRAND - Eva LaDonna Fletcher, 78, died Dec. 11, 2002, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born Sept. 4, 1924, in Eudora, Ark., daughter of the late Joe and Jewell McClain LaeDicker, she was a lifelong resident of her family's farm in Mississippi County. She worked for the Sears Catalog Store in Sikeston for 30 years before retiring and was of the Baptist belief.

In 1942, she married Vernon Crenshaw who preceded her in death.

She and Roy Fletcher were married in February 1956, and he survives of Charleston.

Other survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, LaQuita and Joe Parker of Bertrand; four grandchildren, Holly Parker of Cape Girardeau, Tony Parker of Bertrand, Tina Withrow of Blodgett and Joe Crenshaw of Gouvernour, N.Y.; and one great-grandson, Brent Crenshaw of Glen Carbon, Ill.

Also preceding her in death were a son, Richard Crenshaw on Nov. 17, 1997; and one sister, Agatha Walker.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Mark Odle, pastor of the Diehlstadt General Baptist Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery near Charleston.
