Arcel Knuckles
MALDEN - Arcel E. Knuckles, 63, died Dec. 10, 2002, at his home.
Born May 28, 1939, in Canalou, son of Stella Downs Knuckles of Sikeston and the late Herschel Knuckles, he retired as a maintenance mechanic for the Sikeston Power Plant and was a veteran of the National Guard. He was a member of the First Pentecostal Church of Malden.
On Jan. 16, 1987, in Morehouse, he married Sharon Sue Brown who survives of the home.
Survivors in addition to his wife and mother include: two daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Shannon Jones of Sikeston and Tammy and Michael Tucker of Kennett; two sons and daughters-in-law, Darren and Amanda Knuckles of Fruitland and Brian and Tracey Knuckles of Calvert City, Ky.; three stepchildren, Ladonna Silman and Jason Bryant of Malden and Carlin Glass of Bernie; three sisters, Arlene Kirby of Dexter, Carolyn Moore of Sikeston and Donna Mallott of Kennett; three brothers, Lloyd Knuckles and Rick Knuckles of Sikeston and Ronnie Knuckles of Dexter; and seven grandchildren and four stepgrandchildren.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the First Pentecostal Church in Malden, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Leroy Young will officiate.
Burial will follow in Rosewood First Addition Cemetery in Malden.
Landess Funeral Home in Malden is in charge of arrangements.
