Audrey McCullough
SIKESTON - Audrey Mae Baker McCullough, 89, formerly of Charleston, died at 5:30 a.m. Oct. 25, 2002, at the Clearview Nursing Center.
Born March 1, 1913, in Charleston, daughter of the late Eliza and Maggie Golightly Baker, she lived in Charleston most of her life before moving to Sikeston nine years ago. She had been employed by Brown Shoe Company in Charleston and was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.
On April 20, 1940, she married Walter Alvin McCullough who preceded her in death on Aug. 2, 1971.
Survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Christine McCullough of Cape Girardeau and Richard and Verna McCullough of Charleston; four daughters and sons-in-law, Dessie and Tom Tramel of Powell, Wyo., Daisy and Gerald McClain of Charleston, Dorothy and Fred Turner of Sikeston and Mary and Kenneth Hillis of Poplar Bluff; one brother, Leonard Baker of the state of California; and 18 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Carroll Baker, Everett Baker, Gerald Baker and baby Earl Baker; one sister, Juanita Brown; and two great-grandchildren, Jessica Pazdera and Christopher Fiske.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday. The Rev. Jack Hargraves of Chaffee will officiate.
Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery near Charleston.
