Margariette Persfull

DEXTER - Margariette Ellen Persfull, 66, died Oct. 22, 2002, at St. Bernard's Hospital in Jonesboro, Ark.

Born Oct. 22, 1936, in Jonesboro, daughter of the late Joe A. and Johnnie A. Davidson Stewart, she lived in Dexter since 1962. She retired as an elementary teacher for Richland Public Schools after 32 years of service. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dexter and Order of the Eastern Star in Bloomfield.

On Nov. 24, 1956, in Jonesboro, she married J.D. Persfull who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son, Justin Duane Persfull of Dexter; one daughter, Ramona Ellen Baker of Dexter; one brother, John Stewart of Jonesboro; and two grandsons.

One brother, Joe Stewart, preceded her in death.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Wayne Dismuke of Dexter will officiate.

Burial will follow in Sadler's Chapel Cemetery near Dexter.
