Arlene McGill
SIKESTON - Arlene Yvonne McGill, 62, died at 1:35 a.m. July 12, 2002, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Born Jan. 31, 1940, in Maryville, Tenn., daughter of Maggie Taylor Long Skinner of Sikeston and the late Paul Long, she was a member of Powerhouse of God Church.
Survivors in addition to her mother include: three sons, Linton Jacobs, Tom Staggs and Ronnie Staggs of Sikeston; one daughter, Julie Draper of Sikeston; one brother, Ken Long of Sacramento, Calif.; five sisters, Gladys Rogers of Morehouse, Mary Mason of Clemens, Calif., Linda Raines of Sacramento, Shelby Samaniego of Kerman, Calif., and Freddie Sue Spraggs of Jefferson City; and 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
One sister, Rita Skinner Darnell, preceded her in death.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday. The Rev. Betty Ware, pastor of Powerhouse of God Church, will officiate.
Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
