Brandy Vandeven

MARBLE HILL - Brandy Marie Vandeven, 26, died June 6, 2002, at her home.

Born June 2, 1976, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Anthony and Judy Ridings Carroll, she was a secretary for Muffler Express in Cape Girardeau. She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee and the Daughters of St. Ambrose.

On Oct. 17, 1998, she married Randal Vandeven who survives of the home.

Survivors in addition to her husband and parents include: one daughter, Rylie Jo Vandeven of the home; one sister, Twila Hauzer of Chaffee; her paternal grandmother, Stella Carroll of Chaffee; maternal grandparents, Von and Mary Frances Ridings of Cape Girardeau; maternal grandmother, Reva Faulkner of Patterson; and three nieces, Tesslia Jones, Autumn Vandeven and Amber Vandeven of Chaffee.

Preceding her in death were her paternal grandfather, Albert Carroll; and sister-in-law, Bethani Vandeven.

Visitation begins at 4 p.m. today at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, where parish prayers will be read at 7 p.m.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at the church with the Rev. Ralph Duffner officiating.

Burial will follow in the St. Ambrose Catholic Cemetery at Chaffee.

Pallbearers will be: Anthony Carroll, Rick Vandeven, Jaeson Fraser, Tom Taylor, Dale Nordin and Danny White.
