Stella Walden

SIKESTON - Stella Walden, 89, died Nov. 17, 2002, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

Born April 22, 1913, in Banner, Ky., daughter of the late Barley and Polly Ann Jones, she was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

On Aug. 22, 1945, in Ogden, Utah, she married Burrel Ellis Walden who preceded her in death on May 2, 1998.

Survivors include: three sons, Harry Walden of Millington, Mich., Robert Walden of Cape Girardeau and Charles Walden of Wernersville, Pa.; two daughters, Carla Walter of Florissant and Carol Jean Kramer of Wildwood; one sister, Kathryn Ross of Chaffee; and 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Ponder Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday.

Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
