Leon Cannady
PARMA - Leon Cannady, 60, died Nov. 18, 2002, near Marble Hill.
Born Jan. 5, 1942, in Como, son of the late Clarence and Goldie Creason Cannady, he was a lifelong resident of the Parma area, where he was a farmer and member of the Church of God.
On March 17, 1972, in New Madrid, he married Judy Cullum who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons, Christopher Cannady of Parma and Calvin Davidson of Malden; three daughters, Tammy Lee and Tina Thurman of Tallapoosa and Vicky Cravens of Parma; three brothers, Hubert Cannady of Malden and Ronnie Cannady and William Cannady of Bernie; one sister, Beulah Brown of Alton, Ill.; and nine grandchildren.
Visitation begins at 5 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Parma, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday with Carl O'Dell of Parma, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Rosewood Cemetery in Malden.
