Garry Loflin

EAST PRAIRIE - Garry L. Loflin, 59, died at 4:30 a.m. July 2, 2002, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born June 25, 1943, in Missouri, son of the late Jewell and Ada Langley Loflin, he had lived in East Prairie for the past 11 years, moving from Virginia, where he was a hairdresser. He was of the Baptist belief.

Survivors include: four brothers. Marshall Loflin of Sikeston, Don Loflin of Attila, Ala., Joe Loflin of Big Clifty, Ky., Johnnie Ray Loflin of East Praiire and David Avery of California; six sisters, Wanda Walker of Indiana, Mary Patrick and Carolyn Bailey of East Prairie, Janet Vines and Laurie Riggins of East Prairie and Jewelline Kramer of McAllen, Texas; and his stepmother, Katherine Loflin of East Prairie.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

No services will be conducted. Shelby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
