Bill Aslin
DEXTER - Bill Aslin, 80, died Oct. 14, 2002, at the Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Center in Dexter.
Born June 16, 1922, in rural Dexter, son of the late Dave and Minnie Harper Aslin, he was a line worker for Ozark Dairy in Dexter before retiring and was of the Baptist belief.
On May 27, 1944, at Bloomfield, he married Mildred Launius who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Kathy Tinker of Grover City, Calif.; one brother, Rube Aslin of the state of Washington; three sisters, Leah Wilson of the state of Washington, Marion Moody of Sikeston and Marjorie Ann Hopkins of Alton, Ill.; and three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by one son, Dale Aslin; two brothers, Clifton Aslin and Ray Aslin; and two sisters, Sylvia Page and Ruth Stone.
Services were conducted at 2 p.m. today at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter with the Rev. Calvin Buhler officiating.
Burial followed in the Walker Cemetery near Bloomfield.
