Gladys Langston
DEXTER - Gladys Lincoln Langston, 91, died Aug. 26, 2002, at the Mulberry Manor in Dexter.
Born Sept. 17, 1910, in Bloomfield, daughter of the late Elisha B. and Edna Moore Lincoln, she was a clerical worker for Office of Personal Management in St. Louis. She was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Dexter and 50-year member of Chapter 311 Order of the Eastern Star.
On June 17, 1934, in St. Louis, she married Loren Eldridge Langston who preceded her in death on Oct. 17, 1995.
She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Floyd Lincoln, Robert Lincoln, Loran Lincoln and Harold Lincoln; and two sisters, Amy Graves and Mazie Eaton.
Survivors include: two nieces, Lena Lind of Dexter and Helen Jolly of Fisk; and three nephews, Samuel Lincoln of Oakwood, Ga., Robert Lincoln of Cape Girardeau and Russell Graves of Dexter.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Kenneth Biggs, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
