Ruth McClard

BLOOMFIELD - Ruth V. McClard, 67, died Aug. 24, 2002.

Born Sept. 3, 1934, at Elsberry, she had lived in Troy for several years before moving to Bloomfield in 1994. She was a member of the Bloomfield Lions Club of which she was active as long as her heath allowed.

On Nov. 9, 1982, she married Thomas "Sunnie" McClard who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son, Douglas Scott Jones of O'Fallon; one stepson, Thomas Edward McClard Jr. of Silicon Valley, Calif.; five daughters, Joyce Elaine Cain of Bloomfield, Carol Ann Keeton of Glen Falls, N.Y., Peggy Lynn Grossback of Winters, Calif., Shirley Jo Enos of Spokane, Wash., and Brenda Gail Hinze of Troy; four stepdaughters, Caroline Marie Cainget of Seattle, Wash., Jeanith Ann Mesa of Guam, Myrtie Teresa Leskew of Nashua, N.H., and Andres Crystal Poggione of Las Vegas, Nev.; and 35 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday at Triplett Cemetery near Bloomfield with the Rev. Cotus James officiating. Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
