Cordy Brewer

EAST PRAIRIE - Cordy Lee Brewer, 60, died at 1:15 p.m. April 30, 2002, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born March 29, 1942, at East Priaire, daughter of the late Newt Wade and Verna Mae Henderson Brewer, she was a member of the First General Baptist Church in East Prairie.

Survivors include: three brothers, David Brewer, Frank Brewer and Michael Brewer of East Prairie; seven sisters, Annie Grace Chance, Barbara McAfee, Brenda Riggins, Kaye Youngblood and Donna Shands of East Prairie, Phyllis Williams of La Center, Ky., and Verna Lou Williams of Bank, Ala.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be after 5 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday with Burl Britt officiating.

Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie.

Pallbearers will be: Danny Brewer, Joey Brewer, Don Chance, Ronnie Chance, Jason Youngblood and Jeremiah Shands.
