Doyle Horne

MATTHEWS - Doyle Wayne Horne, 70, died April 26, 2002, at Sells Rest Home.

Born Aug. 31, 1931, in Bucoda, son of the late Thomas Elvin and Grace Alice Lemons Horne, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

On Aug. 5, 1950, in Cardwell, he married Roberta Lancaster who preceded him in death.

Survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Angie Horn of McAlester, Okla., and Randy and Susan Horne of Sikeston; one daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Stephen Meyer of Louisville, Ky.; one sister, Jeanie Small of Hernando, Miss.; and eight grandchildren.

Graveside services were conducted at noon today at the Cardwell Cemetery with the Rev. Derek Combs officiating.

McDaniel Funeral Home in Senath was in charge of arrangements.
