Hester Elledge

MARBLE HILL - Hester A. Elledge, 81, died April 28, 2002, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born March 18, 1921, in Marble Hill, daughter of the late Burette and Barbara Bollinger Crader, she was of the Baptist belief.

On March 27, 1944, in Corning, Ark., she married Clinton Elledge who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son, Roger Elledge of Sikeston; one daughter, Shelia Teeters of Marble Hill; two sisters, Modine Filer of Marble Hill and Imogene Stroder of Jackson; two grandchildren, Sam Teeters and Roger Elledge II; and one great-granddaughter, Madelyn Elledge.

One sister and one grandchild preceded her in death.

Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Gerald Huff will officiate.

Burial will follow in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.
