PARMA - Willie E. Davis, 72, died May 31, 2002, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Born Jan. 31, 1930, in Lake Coromant, Miss., son of the late Buster and Ella Lee Bowen Davis, he lived in Milwaukee, Wis., until returning to Parma in May.

His first wife, Eleanor Davis, preceded him in death.

He married Mildred Davis who survives of Parma.

Other survivors include: five sons, Willie Davis Jr. of Portageville, Maynard Davis and Jeffrey Johnson of St. Louis and Ricky Frazier and Otis Frazier of Milwaukee; seven daughters, Dorothy Curry of St. Louis, Dorothy Nwonye, Junita Frazier, Edna Frazier, Thelma Frazier, Curtistine Frazier and Jackie Frazier of Milwaukee; three brothers, Buster Davis and Charles Greer of Kansas City and Jody James of Milwaukee; three sisters, Viola McCullum, Virgie Davis and Hazel Spinks of Milwaulkee; and 37 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by one son, John Frazier; one brother, Leroy James; and one sister, Joada Davis.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. Saturday until service time at noon at the First Baptist Church in Catron. The Rev. J.D. Foster, pastor, will officiate.

Burial will follow in Simmons Park Cemetery at Catron.
