Glyn Stewart
LUBBOCK, Texas - Glyn Allen Stewart, 73, died May 15, 2002, in Texas.
Born Oct. 15, 1928, in East Prairie, son of the late Joel and Thelma Wallace Stewart, he served in the U.S. Army from 1946-49 and was a paratrooper during World War II. He was a self-employed electrician for 30 years.
His wife, Mary Stewart, survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons, Allen Stewart of Arlington and Chris Stewart of Denton; two daughters, Sharon Lintner of Utah and Mary Jackson of Mississippi; four brothers, Joel Stewart of Michigan, Lowell Stewart of East Prairie, Mo., Mike Stewart of Scott City, Mo., and Bill Stewart of Benton, Mo.; and 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services were conducted May 18 at Resthaven Abbey Chapel in Lubbock.
Burial followed in Resthaven Memorial Park.
