Lois Penrose

ORAN - Lois Noel Penrose, 67, died at 5 a.m. May 29, 2002, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born July 12, 1934, in Sherman, Texas, daughter of the late Jessie Noel, she was a solderer for Western Electric in Dallas, Texas, before retiring and member of Vanduser First Baptist Church.

On April 23, 1993, at Vanduser, she married Steven Witt Penrose who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son, John Charles Russell of Jackson; two stepdaughters, Trish Klipfel of Benton and Kelly Moyers of Oran; one brother, Jessie Noel Jr. of Denison, Texas; two sisters, Joyce Krischner of Denison and Fran Tiner of Springfield; and four stepgrandchildren.

One sister preceded her in death.

A memorial service is scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran with the Rev. Marvin Graham officiating.
