Wilene Smith

SIKESTON - Wilene Smith, 77, died Jan. 5, 2005, at her home.

Born Aug. 27, 1927, in Crossville, Tenn., daughter of the late Franklyn Kelly and Laura Bell Bilbrey Neal, she was of the Baptist belief.

In 1942, she married Guy Wright Smith who preceded her in death in January 1991.

Survivors include: two sons, Ron Smith of Sikeston and Guy Smith of Los Angeles; two daughters, Donna Montoya of Los Angeles and Lorraine Bernal of Sikeston; five sisters, Maggie Weatherford, Cassie Bobo, Louise Douglas and Kelsey Brown of Jackson, Tenn., and Opal Hayes of Tennessee; and 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Jodi Smith; three daughters, Bonnie Lou Smith, Priscilla Diane Smith and Jamie Davis; two sisters, Laura John Dodd and Mamiah Neal; one brother, Paul Neal; and one grandson, Mike Smith.

Graveside services will be conducted at noon Saturday at the Fairview Cemetery in Advance.
