Herbert Brown

MURRIETA, Calif. - Herbert "Bud" Brown, 79, died April 6, 2007, at Loma Linda VA Hospital.

Born May 25, 1927, in Morehouse, Mo., he was a resident of Murrieta for 10 years. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1944-1946 and was a member of Las Brisas Bible Fellowship Church in Murrieta.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Edith Brown of Murrieta.

Other survivors include: two daughters and a son-in-law, Lana and Wayne Henson and Cynthia Jalajas of Lexington, S.C.; three brothers, Howard Brown of Cape Girardeau, Mo., Eugene Brown of Millersville, Mo., and Kenneth Brown of St. Louis; two sisters Charlene Holt of Sikeston, Mo., and Ina Wyrick of Morehouse; and three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. May 7 at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Mo.

Family members will be in charge of arrangements.
