MOREHOUSE - Glenn Edward Grigsby, 64, died at 11:30 p.m. April 28, 2007, at his home. MOREHOUSE - Glenn Edward Grigsby, 64, died at 11:30 p.m. April 28, 2007, at his home.

Born Aug. 26, 1942, in Sikeston, son of the late Glen Arthur and Florence Marcella Golightly Grigsby Crowson, he was an insurance salesman and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, American Legion, VFW and Eagles No. 3319.

On Jan. 1, 1990, he married Katherine "Kathy" McCanless who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Stephanie Grigsby of West Frankfort, Ill.; one daughter and son-in-law, Stacy and Mike Giesmann of O'Fallon; one stepson and daughter-in-law, Adam and May Caetano of Modesto, Calif.; two sisters, Gail Ryan of Eu Clair, Wis., and Donna Alexander of Sikeston; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael Grigsby and Jimmy Grigsby; and one sister, Vicki Pedroza.

Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Blanchard Funeral Chapel in Sikeston where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Tom McCanless, pastor of Kewanee Missionary Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial with full military honors will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield.

Pallbearers will be: Jim Laminack, Bradley Alexander, Steve Alexander, Danny Henry, Chris Alexander, Matthew Henry and Bob Barber.
