KELSO - Mildred Francis Diebold, 81, formerly of Benton, died at 1:02 p.m. Nov. 3, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Born Feb. 7, 1923, in Anniston, daughter of the late George and Lila Gardner Lochridge, she was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso.
On Sept. 3, 1943, she married Herman Eugene Diebold who preceded her in death on Oct. 12, 2004.
Survivors include: four sons, Gene Diebold of Bloomsdale, James Diebold of Columbus, Ohio, Charlie Diebold of O'Fallon and John Diebold of St. Louis; three daughters, Pat Atkins of St. Charles, Mary Moyers of Jackson and Brenda McKinnis of Corpus Christi, Texas; and nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Three brothers and two sisters also preceded her in death.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton where a prayer service is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
Services will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Oliver Clavin officiating.
Burial will follow in the St. Denis Cemetery at Benton.
