Patty Long

EAST PRAIRIE -- Patricia A. "Patty" Long, 76, died May 4, 2007, at Southeast Missouri Hospital In Cape Girardeau.

Born July 26, 1930, in Schuyler, Neb., she was the daughter of the late Jess and Velma Gordon Spence.

On Sept. 28, 1984, she married James R. Long who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two sons and one daughter-in-law, Mike and Susan Grubbs of Winfield, Texas, and Patrick Grubbs of Norfolk, Neb.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Royann and Mark Schmiedeskamp of Lincoln, Neb., and Jina and Glenn Huebert of Hampton, Neb.; two stepsons and one stepdaughter-in-

law, Travis Long of Des Moines, Iowa, and Tony and Misty Long of Bertrand; and five grandchildren and nine stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother and one stepsister.

Services were conducted Sunday at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.

Burial followed in the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
