BENTON -- An Oklahoma resident sustained fatal injuries in a one-vehicle accident early Saturday.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, at 12:05 a.m. northbound motorist Jeff P. Lindly, 25, of Jay, Okla., was traveling in Scott County on Interstate 55, five miles south of Benton, when ran his vehicle off the roadway and overturned.
Lindly was taken by ambulance to Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, where he was pronounced dead at 1:14 a.m.
