CHARLESTON -- Idelle Huggins Wallace, 89, died at 4:10 p.m. Dec. 6, 2007, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. Born April 22, 1918, in Pope County, Ark., daughter of the late M.H. and Nancy Jane Cloud Huggins, she had lived in Mississippi County most of her life. She was a member of the Wyatt Baptist Church and had been a member of the Rebekkah Lodge in Charleston. She was a resident of the Miner Nursing Center...

CHARLESTON -- Idelle Huggins Wallace, 89, died at 4:10 p.m. Dec. 6, 2007, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born April 22, 1918, in Pope County, Ark., daughter of the late M.H. and Nancy Jane Cloud Huggins, she had lived in Mississippi County most of her life. She was a member of the Wyatt Baptist Church and had been a member of the Rebekkah Lodge in Charleston. She was a resident of the Miner Nursing Center.

On Nov. 22, 1933, she married Lonnie W. Wallace who preceded her in death on June 10, 1977.

She was also preceded in death by: one daughter, Lonna Irene Belk; four brothes, Wilmer Huggins, Vernon Huggins, Olaf Huggins and McClunia Huggins; and four sisters, Zelma Cole, Velma Huggins, Opal Jones and Alta Allen.

Survivors include: one son, Larry J. Wallace of Norman, Okla.; five daughters, Loretta Magee of Sikeston, Genne Ve Brown of Wappapello, Juanita Ann Wallace of Charleston, Joyce Arlene Davis of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and Nancy Jane Goyins of St. Clair; and 18 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and seven great-

great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from noon until time of services at 2 p.m. Sunday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. The Rev. Amos Dees, pastor of the Little Brushy Baptist Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Eugene Magee, Daryl Magee, Franklin Brown, Paul Belk, Steven Belk, Michael Goyins, Charlie Wallace and Luke Wallace.
