DEXTER -- Mildred Scroggins, 89, died Dec. 6, 2007, at the Cypress Point Health Care facility in Dexter.
Born May 23, 1918, in Morrillton, Ark., to the late Johnny and Charity Prince Stobaugh, she had lived in Center Ridge, Ark. before moving to Dexter in 195l. She was a homemaker and member of the Church of Christ.
On Oct. 31, 1932, in Center Ridge, she married Clyde Scroggins who preceded her in death on July 19, 1990.
One daughter, Betty Sue Scroggins, and one brother, Ardith Stobaugh, also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: two daughters, Mary M. Corder of Dexter and Anna Ruth Dial of Granite City, Ill.; one brother, Doyle Stobaugh of Conway, Ark.; and eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 4 p.m. until time of services at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter with Dale Grissom of Dexter officiating.
Burial will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the Center Ridge Cemetery in Center Ridge.
