Kelly athletes perform well at conference meet

CHAFFEE - Thirteen Kelly Hawks track and field team members earned all-

conference honors at the SEMO Southern Conference meet held on April 20 at Chaffee High School. The athletes and their medal-winning events were: Girls --

Emily Strobel (3rd - 100 meter hurdles), Samantha Barber (3rd - 1600 meter run), Rachel Kline (1st - high jump), Kline, Strobel, Kaitlin Vetter, Hannah Rolwing (2nd - 4 x 100 relay), Kourtnie Smith (2nd - discus), Jamie Jackson (3rd - discus), Vetter (3rd - 300 hurdles), Barber (2nd - 800 meter run), Lena Gray (2nd - 3200 meter run) and Kline, Vetter, Strobel, Barber (2nd - 4 x 400 relay). Boys -- Zach Hicks, Omar Campos, Michael Glastetter, Derek Bridges (3rd - 4 x 800 relay), Clay Mothershead (3rd - shot put), Hicks (3rd - 400 meter run), Glastetter (1st - 800 meter run) and Campos (3rd - 3200 meter run). The team is coached by Matt Hale and assisted by Rachael Groner. They will compete in the district track meet in Festus on May 14.
