Rosa Newcomb

CLEVELAND, Miss. - Rosa Lee Newcomb, 94, formerly of Charleston, Mo., died April 25, 2004, at the Bolivar Medical Center.

Born July 17, 1909, she was the daughter of the late Edgar Eugene and Purity Batte Watson.

Her husband, Henry Lawson Newcomb, preceded her in death on Oct. 5, 1955.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Robert Edwin Newcomb, on Aug. 16, 1981.

Survivors include: one granddaughter, Robin Miller of Germantown, Tenn.; her sister, Kathryn Mann of Skene, with whom she resided; and two great-grandsons.

Visitation is from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Ray Funeral Home in Cleveland.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the IOOF Cemetery near Charleston.
