Three are nabbed in drug bust

BENTON -- Three people were arrested in Morley as the result of a drug related search warrant.

Claude M. Woods, 25, of Morley is charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Chrystal D. Smith, 32, of Morley is charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Selena D. Jones, 20, of Perkins is charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A narcotic investigation conducted by the Morley Police, assisted by the Scott County Sheriff's Department, resulted in the issuance of a search warrant for residence at 105 Emerson Lane in Morley. Officers with the Sheriff's Department's SERT Team and Morley Police Department executed the search warrant Sunday night.

Items of controlled substance, drug paraphernalia, and currency were seized from the residence.

Woods is currently being held in the Scott County Jail. Smith and Jones have been released on bond to appear in Associate Circuit Court in Benton on May 25. Smith was also arrested on a Chaffee municipal warrant.
