Sally Harmon

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Sally Arebelle Harmon, 81, formerly of Sikeston, died May 22, 2004, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

Born Oct. 13, 1922, at Lamar, Ark., daughter of the late Sylvester "C.C." and Lela Arebelle Allen Carter, she was of the Church of God belief.

On Sept. 10, 1941, she married Thomas "Ralph" Harmon Sr. who preceded her in death on Dec. 22, 1984.

Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Margaret Cline Harmon of Cape Girardeau; one granddaughter, Tina Harmon Havard of Clinton, La.; and one great-grandson, Robert E. "Trey" Havard III of Clinton.

One brother and four sisters also preceded her in death.

Services were conducted at 2 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston. Don Reder, Lutheran Home chaplain, officiated.

Burial followed in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
