Genevieve Loida

SCOTT CITY - Genevieve Loida, 91, died at 10:30 p.m. Nov. 9, 2003, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

Born March 2, 1912, in St. Louis, daughter of the late Henry and Alice Calliotte Loida, she was a machine operator for Ely Walker before retiring. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City.

She was preceded in death by her twin sister and a brother.

Surviving are two nieces, Lisa Dunger of Scott City and Kay Carroll of San Diego, Calif.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City where parish prayers will be said at 6:30 p.m.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. David Coon officiating.

Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery at Scott City.
