SIKESTON - Muhannad Al-Kilani, MD, FACE, was recertified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism, by passing the May 2005 Recertification Examinations.

Al-Kilani is also a certified clinical densitometrist by the International Society of Clinical Densitometry and has been recognized for the second time from the American Diabetes Association and the National Committee for quality assurance for delivery of quality diabetes care. An endocrinologist - diabetologist at Missouri Delta Medical Center, his practice, Missouri Delta Endocrine and Diabetic Center is located in Sikeston.

BENTON - Scott County Sheriff's Department and Oran Police Chaplain the Rev. Don Harth attended the International Conference of Police Chaplains 32nd Annual Training Seminar in San Antonio, Texas, July 11-15.

Harth was one of 390 chaplains, many accompanied by spouses and children, who participated. Courses included such diverse topics as Chaplains as Teachers of Integrity, HIPPA Laws and the Chaplain, Developing and Mentoring Chaplains, Surviving as a Law Enforcement Chaplain, Chaplains and the Infection Connection and Community Policing and Chaplaincy.

Also Harth serves the Oran Fire Protection and North Scott Ambulance districts and is pastor of the Guardian Angel Catholic Church at Oran.

CAPE GIRARDEAU - Kristyn Turnbow has joined the staff of Spa 151 in Cape Girardeau.

A 2004 graduate of Sikeston High School, Turnbow recently was certified by the Missouri Board of Cosmetology.

As a hairstylist for Spa 151, located at 151 Spanish St. in Cape Girardeau, Turnbow encourages the public to stop in the facility.
